TheraNest's User Community is a community of real people who collaborate on questions, solutions, and tips regarding the products and industry they love as well as discuss and troubleshoot the challenges they face. We appreciate your participation in the User Community, and we want to get you started off on the right foot. Here are some things you'll want to set up or know how to do:
- Set up a support account and profile - your support account will allow you to sign into the Knowledge Base and User Community and check your open support requests and community posts and comments (contributions). In your profile you can add a photo, introduce yourself, and provide your best contact details (only seen by TheraNest Support).
- Create an alias - this is also an option in your profile settings.
- Check out the User Community Guidelines - these will share the intention of the community and the expectation for posting and commenting in the community.
- How to create a new post - this will start a new question or discussion.
- How to comment - respond to a post to provide an answer, tip, or continue the conversation.
- How to follow a topic or post - following a topic or post will send you notifications of new contributions.
- How to review your contributions (aka community posts and comments) and what you've followed - this allows you to view your post or comments in one place. It also allows you quickly go to each topic or post. Viewing your follows will also allow you to unfollow or change your following settings.
Create a community post:
- Click New post in the top-right side of any community page.
- Enter a Title for your post.
- Notice similar posts might appear after typing in key words in the Title section. Your question or tip might already be posted and you can click on that post's title to view the comment thread and make any additional contributions.
- Enter Details, which might be a question, update, or tip.
- Use the toolbar for formatting options or to add links or images. Remember, no PHI.
- You can add an image with a maximum file size of 2MB. If you add images to a post in a restricted topic, be aware that users who follow your content will only see these images within their email notifications for a limited amount of time (seven days).
- @mentions: If you want to mention another user, type @ followed by a minimum of the first three characters of their alias, or user name if the user does not have an alias, then select the user you want to add from the autocomplete menu.
- For instance, if you want to @mention Jane Doe, type @Jan then select Jane Doe. The user mentioned is automatically emailed, and now follows the post.
Note: If a user has not yet submitted a post or comment in the community, you can't use @mentions.
