03/21/2022 - Progress Note Issue Correction

We recently experienced and issue where the Service Date/Time in a progress note was not captured correctly.

We have corrected this issue and any progress note NOT signed at the time the correction was applied was updated automatically.

Any progress note SIGNED between 03/15/22 and 03/21/22 will need to be unsigned, the date corrected and re-signed. This process involves having Organization Administration unsigned all progress notes signed in the date range and the Therapist signing the notes again.

Unsign Progress Notes Signed Between 03/15 and 03/21/22

Permissions: You must have Organization Administration Permissions.

1. Navigate to Reports>Cases & Notes>Progress Note Signature Report
2. Under Service Date Range select From 03/15/22 and To 03/21/22
3. Click Run Report.
4. Go to the first entry showing Signed and click View Note.
   
5. The progress note is displayed, click Remove All Signatures.
   
6. A confirmation is displayed, click Yes I'm sure.
7. Note the Provider(s) listed on each progress note to notify them to re-sign the note.
   
8. Click Save.
9. Return to Step 1 and repeat the process for any other Signed progress notes.

Therapist Re-sign Progress Notes

NOTE: The Therapist assigned to the client should resign their own Progress Notes.

1. Navigate to Reports>Cases & Notes>Progress Note Signature Report
2. Under Service Date Range select From 03/15/22 and To 03/21/22
3. Click Run Report.
4. Go to the first entry showing Not Signed and click View Note.
   
5. Verify the appropriate appointment and date/time for the appointment.
6. Save and E-Sign the Progress Note.
7. Repeat steps 1-5 re-sign the remaining appointments.
