A Case is a collection (like a file folder) of Notes and clinical information for a Client.
Sometimes a Client can have multiple cases, for example they might have a Case for individual Appointments and a Case for Group session Notes.

Case for Individual Client
- Locate Client and open Client Profile.
- Click Notes in left side menu.
NOTE: If only one case is open for the client, the Progress Note tab is opened automatically. Click All Cases to create a new case.
- Click + New Case button.
IMPORTANT: If a Client already has a Case that you are not assigned to, you will receive the following message:
Tip! This client already has notes you aren't assigned to.
Please contact Administrator to get access. If you receive this message, please reach out to your Administrator and ask to be added to the case or if you should create a new separate Case. - Enter all appropriate Case Details.
- Client will default and you will automatically be assigned to the Case.
- When finished, click Save.
Case for Groups
The Group must be created before you can create a Case for the Group.
- Click Clients tab in primary navigation bar.
- Click Groups in left side menu.
- Locate appropriate Group and click Cases button.
- Click + New Case button.
- Enter all appropriate Case Details.
- Clients in Group will default and you will automatically be assigned to the Case.
- When finished, click Save.
