Create or Remove a Write-Off (TheraNest)

  Permissions: You must have Billing Permissions.

Create a Write-Off

1. Locate Client and open Client Profile.
2. Click Ledger in side menu and click appropriate tab to locate Invoice. 
3. Click Write-Offs button or click Actions and select Write Off.

   NOTE: Write Off Info defaults to Insurance Write Off.
   

4. Click check box for appropriate Invoice and then Write Off Amount field populates.
5. IF you only need to write-off a portion of the Invoice, change the amount in the Write Off Amount field.
6. Click Save.

Remove a Write-Off

1. Locate Client and open Client Profile.
2. Click Ledger in side menu and click appropriate tab to locate Invoice. 
3. Click on Invoice that the Write-Off was previous added to.
4. Scroll down to Invoice Write-Offs section.
5. Click Remove.
